Built around the popular BASIC Stamp microcontroller family
The BASIC Stamp is a small, programmable, integrated microcontroller system with a built-in BASIC interpreter. This means that the user has access to all of the power of a microcontroller, without the hassle of low-level programming. PBASIC, the BASIC Stamp language, incorporates common microcontroller functions, including serial communication, I2C, and PWM; allowing you to read sensor data, communicate with other divices, and even control servos and motors.
Wide variety of compatible hardware
Expand your robot's capabilities by adding and upgrading components such as servos and sensors. TTL serial communication allows you to add a wide variety of other peripheral devices, such as servo controllers, DC motor controllers, RFID readers, and more!
