This basic breakout board is slightly larger than the Edison module, giving you easy access to a basic set of features without heavily increasing its footprint. The board has a USB OTG with USB micro type-AB connector, a USB OTG power switch, a USB to device UART bridge with micro type-B connector, a battery charger, and a power supply. It exposes the native 1.8V I/O of the Edison module, and gives you a 0.1 inch grid I/O array of through-hole solder points to work with.
