The MosquitIO Pan & Tilt Microcontroller
is a custom developed controller built to make controlling a robotic pan & tilt unit simple and straight forward.
It is based around the Atmel ATMega168 microcontroller and is Arduino-Compatible with a few setting adjustments to the Arduino IDE. The default firmware is completely open-source and features dual-mode functionality: USB tethered to a PC using a simple serial packet command structure, or stand-alone using an analog joystick (such as the Phidgets Mini Joystick) for basic operation. A full-featured sample application written in Visual C# .NET is available for download below, along with open source firmware and a python demo app.
