The RobotGeek Laser is an easy way to add a red laser to your robot! Just plug the black wire into ground and the white wire into a 5v signal, and the laser will power on. The .1"/2.54mm female headers make it easy to plug into breadboards, jumper wires, standard header pins and more.

With this laser you'll get three different mounting solutions! These solutions mean that you can spend less time figuring out how to mount the laser and more time firing lasers!

You can even use couplers to attach this laser directly to your Arduino! Just use the digitalWrite() function to control the laser like you would any other digital output.

    • Operating Voltage: 5V
    • Connectors: Two .1"/2.54mm female Connectors. Black = ground/negative White = Positive
    • Cable Length: 30cm

<p>The device costs $6. How long are you going to agonize.</p><p>One thing not in the seller's pages: draws 26mA. Perhaps a bit much to ask of an Arduino or Pi pin... but that's easily fixed with a transistor.</p><p>Why not just "hack" an old laser pointer? I'm told that some of them don't work well with voltages not derived from batteries. More details at my page on the laser pointer module....</p><p>http://sheepdogguides.com/elec/iec/laser%20pointer%20iec148.htm</p>
