The OS5000-S is an
extremely small form factor (1x1” square) three axis, tilt compensated digital
compass. The flexible design allows customers to use RS232 Serial connection for
system integration. The OS5000-S provides precise heading, roll and pitch data
ideal for rapid attitude measurement. The compass offers an easy to use ASCII
interface which includes hard-iron calibration and simple data configuration for
your application.Features:
- Precision Compass – Tilt Compensated, 1 degree heading accuracy, 0.1
degree resolution
- Ultra Compact Design
- 3 Axis Honeywell Magneto Resistive Sensors
- 3 Axis STM Accelerometer for Roll and Pitch Angle Measurement (Full
Range)
- Design uses 24 bit A/D converters and a 50 MIPS processor doing floating
point math.
- Serial version - pigtail cable and CD are included!
- 7 Pin Molex Connector for Serial Connection
- Low Power Circuit Consumption: 3.3V – 5V @ 20ma
