Victor 884 Speed Controller (12V)

The Victor 884 can be controlled using one of our servo controllers. By connecting the Servo Output from one of the Servo Controllers into the PWM cable Input on the Victor 884 you have a set up which essentually creates a 12V Phidget Motor Controller!

This speed controller comes with a PWM Signal Booster cable, which is necessary for the speed controller to properly read the signal from the Phidget Servo Controller.

The Victor 884 is a speed controller specifically engineered for robotic applications. The 40A capacity, low voltage drop, and peak surge capacity make the Victor 884 ideal for drive systems while its braking options and precise control meet the demanding needs of arms and lift systems.

The Victor 884 provides output control from 3% to 100%. and has a deadband with respect to the PWM signal, which is approximately 117 to 137 (127 center). Any PWM signal within the deadband results in no output (neutral). The PWM deadband accommodates joysticks that do not return to the exact same center.

General Notes:

1) The red wire (center pin) on the PWM cable connected to the Victor is an open circuit. There is no reason to disconnect this wire in the cable. The Victor does not source or draw power on this line.

2) Do not reverse the input polarity on a Victor. Doing this will permanently damage the unit and void the warranty.
