This pair of 2.55" diameter wheels mount directly to standard hitech or futaba servos, and can be easily combined with any regular wheel encoder sensor, or quadrature wheel encoder sensors, to provide distance and speed feedback to your controller using the wheel encoder pattern.
These wheels are very rugged, and are virtually indestructible. They also provide excellent traction with the black traction bands (four included). The cross section of the wheel is designed to "keep" the traction band in place for trouble free operation.
These wheels can provide 2 degrees of rotational resolution, or 176 transitions per revolution using our quadrature wheel encoders. This translates into 0.045" (1.14 mm) of linear resolution. The wheels can provide 4 degrees of rotational resolution, or 88 transitions per rev using our regular wheel encoder modules. This translates into 0.90" (2.24mm) of linear resolution.
