The Trossen1 was designed as a flexible workhorse platform. The platform
is propelled by a dual-motor differential drive system. The chain-driven
wheels are supported by steel axles and heavy-duty bearings. Trossen1
is able to carry
a 30 lb payload of batteries, grippers, cameras, sensors, computers,
delicious beverages, or whatever else you want.
The 3/16" aluminum deck has pre-drilled holes for mounting an additional
deck (2 extra decks & mounting hardware included with kit) to expand the
capabilities of this already versatile platform. With the included spacers,
the extra deck can be mounted 1" to 3" above the main deck, providing plenty
of space between the decks for your batteries and control electronics.
