The TRACER high-speed shuttle AGV is a great solution for indoor autonomous logistics and warehousing applications. The two-wheel differential drive powered by two 150W brushless servo motors allows TRACER to carry a payload of 100kg for 4 hours. TRACER's independent rocker arm independent suspension gives it the ability to traverse obstacles as tall as 10mm and slopes as steep as 8° with a minimum ground clearance of 30mm. With its ability to rotate in place, its low profile, and its steel body, TRACER is a great solution to your logistics platform needs.

The flat design of the body brings extreme bearing capacity. The two-wheel drive puts the universal wheels in motion, which can realize differential rotation and free shuttle in the indoor environment. It is additionally equipped with swing arm independent suspension which leads to easy surmounting of small obstacles.

    Indoor Differential Drive Logistics Platform

TRACER has unique advantages in the field of indoor transportation robots. Its compact and nimble structure enables it to freely navigate in cluttered and dynamic indoor environments. Its powerful motors and strong build allow TRACER to carry a large payload. Providing TRACER with a sensing and compute system allows it to operate autonomously. TRACER’s low cost, high efficiency, and ability to be deployed quickly allows it to perform excellently in indoor transportation scenarios.

    Ultra-Low Profile

    Software

ROS - Robot Operating System (ROS or ros) is an open-source robotics middleware suite. Although ROS is not an operating system but a collection of software frameworks for robot software development, it provides services designed for a heterogeneous computer cluster such as hardware abstraction, low-level device control, implementation of commonly used functionality, message-passing between processes, and package management.

Gazebo - Gazebo offers the ability to accurately and efficiently simulate populations of robots in complex indoor and outdoor environments. At your fingertips is a robust physics engine, high-quality graphics, and convenient programmatic and graphical interfaces. Best of all, Gazebo is free with a vibrant community. Gazebo simulation packages are provided.

CAN - A Controller Area Network (CAN bus) is a robust vehicle bus standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other's applications without a host computer. It is a message-based protocol, designed originally for multiplex electrical wiring within automobiles to save on copper, but it can also be used in many other contexts. SCOUT has an internal controller that runs on a CAN-based communication protocol. Users can communicate with the controller over CAN through AgileX’s open CAN bus protocol.

    Hardware

Rails - The top of the robot provides a standardized mounting solution with aluminum T-slot rails, convenient for securely mounting external equipment and sensors or one of the available preconfigured R&D or navigation kits.

Wheels - A two-wheeled differential drive powered by 150W motors allows TRACER to turn in place, and four additional free wheel casters provide extra support and stability.

Full wrap bumper - Protective bumpers surround TRACER, protecting it from accidental collisions and providing excellent damage protection from every direction.

    Packages

R&D Kit - The AgileX R&D Kit is a fully integrated solution for robotics research and development. It is equipped with a full suite of sensors to support indoor SLAM, navigation, and vision-based applications. This basic package provides an Nvidia Jetson Nano computer pre-installed with Linux Ubuntu 18.04 & ROS Melodic. A WiFi module, Intel RealSense depth camera, EAI G4 LiDAR, & an LCD display.

R&D Kit Pro - Like the standard R&D Kit, the AgileX R&D Pro Kit is a fully integrated solution for robotics research and development. It is equipped with a more powerful suite of sensors to support indoor SLAM, navigation, & vision-based applications than its standard version. The R&D Pro package includes the high-performance Nvidia Xavier computer pre-installed with Linux Ubuntu 18.04 and ROS Melodic, a WiFi module, an Intel RealSense depth camera, a Velodyne Puck LiDAR, & an LCD display.
