The GeekBot Arduino Compatible Rover is a highly flexible wheeled rover created from the ground up to be completely modular and easy to customize. Powered by two high speed continuous turn robot servos, GeekBot has a strong payload capability of 1kg/2.2lbs and moves fast at up to 0.4Mps / 1.3fps. Each Geekbot comes with a 2200mah 7.4V rechargeable Lithium Ion battery, allowing your Geekbot to run for hours! Integrated protection circuitry protects the battery from under/over voltage. Each kit comes with a wall-charger so you can recharge your battery when it runs low and an IR Receiver and Remote to drive the rover.
All RobotGeek sensors, kits, and add-ons conform to the 1 X 1cm grid on the GeekBot decks. Add sensor arrays, turrets, grippers, arms, lasers, advanced controllers… the possibilities are limited only to your imagination. The GeekBot is specifically designed to be customized for each builder’s unique project goals and also includes mounting hardware for a GoPro camera (GoPro Camera NOT included), as well as drink holders and a general enclosure to carry items. At the heart of the Geekbot Rover is the Arduino based Geekduino Microcontroller which allows the rover to be compatible with the whole Arduino ecosystem of products. The comprehensive kit also includes the RobotGeek sensor shield which gives a clean and intuitive breakout of all Arduino I/O for quick set up and ease of expansion. By adding RobotGeek Sensors, you can even make your own mobile RobotGeek Experimenter's Kit!

The Geekbot is meant as an educational rover and was designed for flat surfaces. Uneven surfaces may cause the robot to behave erratically or get stuck.
