Better robot learning starts with better human input.

Glide gives operators a lightweight, stiction-free interface for smooth, precise teleoperation. Cockpit turns Glide into a portable, repeatable operator station for robot-specific demonstration capture.

The input layer matters

The quality of the model begins before training.

Robot learning depends on human demonstrations that accurately express the intended motion. The operator interface determines how cleanly that intent reaches the robot.

01

Remove interference at the source.

Servo resistance, low-speed judder, and gravity-compensation corrections can make fine motion harder to express.

02

Keep robot arms doing robot work.

Purpose-built leaders prevent full-size follower arms from being tied up as controller-side hardware.

03

Standardize the operator environment.

A known physical setup improves consistency across operators, stations, and demonstration sessions.

FROM FIRST MOBILE TASK TO SUPERVISED PILOT.

Rivet is designed for teams that need a real mobile embodiment to develop, collect data, prototype, and qualify applications before a production system exists.

Passive main-joint architecture

Glide avoids servo-driven gravity compensation in the main joints, eliminating the need for software to infer whether force is gravity or intentional operator input.

Lightweight structural design

Carbon-fiber links and compact metal structures keep the arm light enough for passive balancing and repeated operator use.

Controls within reach

Gripper control, a two-axis joystick, programmable buttons, display, and localized feedback stay inside the operator interface.

Repeatable Cockpit geometry

Cockpit preserves the mounting, spacing, height, and ergonomic relationship of one or two Glide arms as the station moves.

Engineered around the operator.

From operator movement to robot learning data.

Glide and Cockpit connect the human operator to the follower robot, cameras, data infrastructure, and training workflow.

GUIDE

The operator demonstrates the task through Glide.

EXECUTE

A supported follower reproduces the commanded movement.

OBSERVE

Follower-mounted cameras capture the robot and task environment.

RECORD

The Trossen Data Collection SDK records supported streams.

INSPECT + TRAIN

Review demonstrations and convert data into supported workflow and train as per yur system..

Trossen-native. Not Trossen-only.

Standardize the human-input layer while retaining flexibility in the follower platform and robot learning stack.
