Trossen Robotics is hiring for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead a greenfield effort to design, build, and operate cloud-native systems from the ground up. In this role, you will develop secure, scalable data storage services, robust model repository platforms, and high-throughput training pipelines optimized for GPU compute. You will implement infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and CI/CD workflows to ensure reliability, security, and cost efficiency across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will enable cross-cloud interoperability so that users can seamlessly access data, models, and compute resources on demand.
Responsibilities:

Lead efforts to design, build, and deploy secure and scalable infrastructure for data storage and model training

Build APIs for uploading, querying, downloading, and managing data at petabyte scale

Build systems for data ingestion, lifecycle management, and cross-cloud movement
-
Define schemas and policies for compute, storage, and network resource allocation
-
Implement container-based deployments across cloud environments
-
Implement infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD
-
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability tools for system reliability and performance
Requirements:

4+ years of experience in designing and deploying scalable systems in the cloud

Strong understanding of cloud security principles

Worked with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tools

Writing internal and public-facing technical documentation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and thrive in a greenfield environment
Nice-to-haves:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
