We're seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive pipeline growth for our robotic machine learning and automation solutions. You'll generate and qualify leads across the entire funnel while gathering critical market insights that will directly influence our product development.
This is a growth position. We are looking for people who want to promote upwards and grow with the company. We are just starting to build the sales team and are looking for people who want to help build a team, not just pound the phones. Help us define the sales roles, then start hiring the next wave of people as your position grows with the division. Robotics is the next wave of automation which will change everything we know. Trossen robotics is an established leader in the research field and we are leveraging our position to transition into industrial and commercial markets next. There is no ceiling to how large this will all go with the right team.
What You'll Do:

Generate pipeline: Cold outreach, inbound lead qualification, and nurturing prospects

Conduct discovery conversations with researchers, engineers, and industrial customers

Document market intelligence: Customer needs, objections, and feature requests for product team

Schedule qualified meetings and demos & get early experience selling alongside Account Executives

Maintain post-handoff communication to gather customer success insights

Support trade shows and customer events for lead generation
What We're Looking For:

1-5 years sales, business development, or customer-facing experience

Strong communication skills and curiosity about technical products

Experience with CRM systems (Nutshell, Hubspot etc.) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Self-motivated with ability to work independently and build processes

Comfortable engaging with technical audiences (engineers, researchers)

Open to occasional travel for trade shows and events
