The Unitree B1 robot boasts impressive stability even on rough terrain, can walk up and down the stairs with a step height of up to 20 cm, and the IP67 certification allows it to be used in any weather and even under water. The Unitree B1 is also equipped with 5 sets of depth cameras providing near spherical viewing angle. The GNSS acquisition, including GPS, BeiDou, and other navigation systems, as well as over-the-horizon communication allowing the robot to operate autonomously in places hardly accessible for people.
ROS support enables autonomous driving development, 3D SLAM mapping & navigation as
well as easy integration with additional sensors.
Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with
dynamic semanticstask automation, and It is commonly used for data analysis, data visualization & task
Gazebo offers the ability to accurately and efficiently simulate populations of
robots in complex indoor and outdoor environments.
The Unitree B1 is capable of comprehensive application of digital twins, big data, autonomous navigation and other technical means to realize automated operations of robot inspections. It also utilizes 4G/5G networking. A variety of sensors are integrated so that the inspection management work is visualized and intelligent. It is also capable of high-precision image recognition algorithm, which can perform intelligent analysis and processing, and automatically record alarm information.
The Unitree B1 is an industrial quadruped robot for the research & development of autonomous systems in the fields of robot-human interaction (HRI), SLAM & transportation. It is capable of operating in all-weather conditions, strong load and expansion space, multi-dimensional perception, full scene coverage, strong computing power and accurate insights.
The Unitree B1 quadruped has impressive mobility, as demonstrated by its ability to climb stairs with ease using its dynamic leg movements and advance sensors.
Extreme durability and resistance to external influence as well as the capability to work autonomously makes Unitree B1 an indispensable tool for any outdoor activity.
Great for emergency service. Due to its maximum load capacity & force control technology, the B1 is capable of cargo transportation over rough terrain to hard-to-reach places.
Ensures Stability On Any Terrain.
Its 4 legs with 12 DOF ensure excellent stability on any terrain type, be it sand, grass, a gravel road, or a pile of stones.
Its waterproof design and durable construction make it ideal for open-air operation in harsh conditions. The robot weighs 50 kg and its dimensions are 1108 x 461 x 671 mm.
The Z1 arm from Unitree is a 6 axis mobile ready manipulator that was made for the B1 allowing the robot to interact with its environment. The Z1 arm comes in a 2kg and 3kg options, with a reach of 740mm and repeatability of ~0.1mm.
Intelligent Depth Cameras. The robot is equipped with five Depth Cameras *5 allowing for autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance using machine vision. It also allows for near spherical viewing angle.
An ergonomic Bluetooth controller is used to operate the Unitree B1. Its maximum working distance is ~100 m in an open space. The left joystick controls the dog’s movement in different directions, while the right one is used to make the B1 rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.
The mobile app is available for both Android and iOS while also supporting the Go1 models. The application allows real-time video streaming from the B1’s five cameras and doing SLAM. It also controls the 5G and GNSS modules for remote robot operation.
The battery was specifically designed for the Unitree B1. It has the capacity of 18000 mAh and features an advanced battery management system developed by Unitree. The power level is indicated by the four LEDs. Installed correctly, the battery ensures the IP67 class of protection.
The Unitree B1 is equipped with 12 joints, 3 for each leg, powered by industrial-grade servo motors with a maximum torque of 210 Nm for knee joint motors.
Its force control technology allows dynamic characteristics and perfect balancing, allowing the dog to climb up and down the stairs with a maximum step height of 20 cm, and quickly regain stability in case of external impacts or falls. Due to its 12 DOF, the robot is capable of complex movements, such as jumps or backflips, and reaches the speed of 1,2 m/s.
The Unitree B1 can also work for up to 4 hours on a single battery charge. Due to its waterproof body, the robot supports fording depth of 1 meter which means it can be employed for under-water exploration.
